Book Review Policy and Disclosures

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I started blogging as a way to remember all the special times I share with my daughters while reading. One of the amazing things that started to happen as a result of this blog is getting requests to review books! I am flattered and humbled by each request that comes my way. However, right now life is sort of taking center stage to writing. So, I am taking a break from accepting book review requests for the time being. I need to finish up the requests I have already accepted for the time being. Work schedules, promotions at my full-time job, and a variety of other things (like a three-year-old who just will not go to bed at night) need my attention right now. I hope you understand. Please feel free to email me at jenny dot houlroyd at gmail dot com if you have any questions.

  2. Hi, I loved your profile description "The dishes were piled up high in the sink. Where was I?" brilliant! Sounds like me and my girls, the dishes stay there until they are asleep and mommy has finished writing. I have just finished my latest book "A Moat is Not a Goat- Poems for Clever Little Girls" a collection of 13 poems written especially for sassy, witty and funny girls. I would love a review from Books, Babies and Bows you can reach me at elsa.takaoka@gmail.com

  5. Hope you’re great. I love your blog… The story about the wicket pickle juice is so sweet.

I'm so excited... I just wrote and published my very first children’s book, Philip & Phoebe. I would love it if you could check it out and review it. It would mean so much to me. Please let me know what you think. Thanks! xo, Anne
